Melissa Murphy
Based in Perth, Melissa has 25 years’ experience across public and private sectors in Australia and overseas. She has extensive strategic and operational experience as a general manager engaging across large, geographically dispersed organisations.
Melissa has held a range of executive and board level positions leading a complex, multifunctional portfolio of business units. She has a track record of effective financial oversight and risk management of large-scale, regulated operations where business improvement is at the forefront.
Melissa augments her corporate strategy and operations expertise with a background in the infrastructure sector, as well as tertiary-qualified marketing and communications capability. This includes directing multi-stakeholder, multi-infrastructure strategic planning projects with major asset investment implications as well as advising senior management on complex logistics systems.
Her sector experience ranges from advising Australian businesses expanding into South East Asia to management consulting specialising in international supply chains and related infrastructure. She has worked across Western Australia, South Australia, Victoria, Northern Territory and New South Wales.

Melissa holds a Master of Business (Industrial Marketing and International Trade) from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), and a Bachelor of Arts (Public Relations and Literature) from Edith Cowan University in Perth.
